My role in this: I collaborated with the team of 5 people. We came to their house and interviewed. I was in charge of interviewing them and writing article after that. Photos and graphic design are done by my teammates.

How I think about this?
Since I major in Journalism and Communications, I have to write so many articles. Yet, this article is still one of my most favorite ones, and I always choose to introduce it to other people.

This was the first time that I had a chance to interview such an influential person - Mr. Ted Osius - the former US ambassador to Vietnam. Contrary to my assumption of a famous man who has appeared in so many TV interviews and articles, Ted was quite friendly and humorous. He and his husband were very willing to share their story, which made the interview was very open and informative.
Ted and Clayton with their first adopted child - Lucy. They were quite open about their relationship.
Another thing made me respect them was their love for each other and the way they raised their kids. Ted and Clayton were really open about their love and made sure the others could feel it. They and helped us understand that there was nothing wrong if you stayed true to your feelings, invested in a healthy and meaningful relationship. Despite of the crazy working schedule of them, both always tried to be good parents, giving their adopted children everything to become a well-educated, nice and loving people. I really appreciated that.
Despite their busy working schedule, both focused on how they could raise their kids into well-educated and loving people.
Love is love. As long as you stay true to your feelings and invest in a healthy relationship, happiness is all around you.
In conclusion, this article has to be one of the most meaningful things I have ever written. Needless to say, I am quite proud of it.
