CF Napa Creates Modern Art for Öömrang’s Wines & Spirits

Öömrang came to CF Napa to create the logo and packaging design for their line of German-inspired wines and Eaux de Vie (fruit brandy). The owners of the winery are German and have a family history of growing grapes and producing wine in the Bavarian region of Franconia. Now based in Washington state, their winery is at the same latitude as Bavaria – making it an ideal climate to grow German varietals.

CF Napa’s solution was to create a modern, clean look reminiscent of German architecture. The Ö with the umlaut became the centerpiece of the label with two Ö’s that make up the name Öömrang interlocking. For the white wines, the Ö’s pop in gold foil and are spliced along a diagonal.

For the extension to the Eaux de Vie, color is used for the Ö’s to differentiate between SKUs.

A pearlescent foil provides a special detail to these premium spirits.
