Pakistan International Airlines from the future (Sayonee x PIA)
Its 2042! PIA is offering its first flight to space for passengers in Pakistan from Islamabad International Airport to the International Space Station. All the years of misery and mismanagement have ended and a new phase has started in the history of PIA. They ask me to design an advertisement inspired by their vintage ads from the 70’s and 80’s to symbolise the return of the Golden era of PIA and this is what I end up making. I use junoon’s “sayonee” to appeal to the people who are distressed with their lives and are looking for an escape. The lyrics roughly translate to “not a single moment full of peace and there’s no way out of it now”
