Hay infinitas opciones de comerse un melón, cada corte conforma un resultado diferente. Mas, ¿puede catalogarse como diseño un melón cortado de una forma particular?
Consideramos diseño conforme al hecho de satisfacer una necesidad, pero ¿acción o verbo? En primer lugar podríamos categorizar la acción de diseñar como la realización de un acto inconsciente. En él interviene el ingenio, siendo algo inmediato y espontáneo. Por otra parte, el verbo contempla el significado académico de la profesión del diseñador, teniendo en cuenta cada una de las fases en su proceso.
Llegados a este punto, el melón a tacón, o mejor expresado, cortar una tajada de melón a tacón ¿puede clasificarse como diseño? Es habitual que a lo largo de nuestra vida nos encontremos frente a variedad de problemas, los cuales resolvemos diseñando casi de manera innata. Para nosotros a tacón significa poner en valor esas pequeñas acciones del día a día que realmente pueden llegar a ser relevantes.
Con ayuda de un cuchillo se crea en la corteza un apoyo para sujetar el melón sin mancharnos las manos. A tacón permite comer de un modo más cómodo, creando un elemento distintivo a la par que funcional.

Design is considered as the fact of satisfying a need, but, it is an action or it is a verb? First of all, the action of design could be categorized as the fulfillment of an unconscious act. It is normal that through our life we face plenty of problems, which we can solve almost in an innate way designing. For us, A tacón means pointing out the value of little daily actions that could turn out to be relevant.
With the help of a knife, we create a support in the rind, so you can grab the melon without getting dirty your hands. A tacón allows us to eat in a more comfortable way, creating at the same time a distinctive and aesthetic element.
