I was contacted by Julia from BeLight Software with an offer to test their vector graphic app For Mac AMADINE. It took me some time to install the app, as it works only on newer Mac OS versions, so my Macbook (2015) was a bit old ) As soon as upgraded, I immediately installed the app, I didn’t have any problems with the Installation. The interface is pretty clean and intuitively clear. It was very nice to work with AMADINE, and I would highly recommend this app as alternative to other products and as a possibility to widen the instrumental equipment.
I din’t have big problems with tools managing, although I have some comments or troubles as the following:
- I unfortunately didn’t manage to find the magic wand
- I didn’t find out, how to make rounded corners, if it’s not a rectangle (for example, triangle)
- I noticed, that I can’t copy color outside the group, when inside the group
- I didn’t get, why I can’t expand the shape, when it has no outline
Here is my piece, that I made with AMADINE. I had the initial idea of making some illustrated typography, then I decided to integrate the letters in some colorful mosaic :-)
