A comprehensive program from BUMN (Badan Usaha Milik Negara) to help villages in developing economical potential, Balkondes (Balai Ekonomi Desa) has been designed in collaboration with Anugrah Mawardi from Amygdala Bamboo. Almost 80% of signage and sitemaps in Balkondes are traditionally made from bamboo as a unique characteristic of Desa Mekarwangi, Bandung. The typeset for the sign system came from bamboo plait and the sitemaps are aesthetically made from bamboo and acrylic.
