Produced while at LPK
Objective: Build a visual expression that transforms The Mercantile Library brand from old and out-dated into trusted, modern, reliable and approachable. The new brand expression must embrace the heritage of the Library and must use the brand icon.
Concept: After recieving the icon, I embraced the historical context of the brand by using traditional colors and a serif typeface. Then I created a more modern, simple visual expression.
