UNTIL WE FALL DOWN | Title Sequence

STORY
Black Hills, Maine. Summer of 1974. As a young pastor takes office, the small town suffers a worrying number of disappearances. Men, women, children. No one is spared. The vanishings look completely random. The police can’t seem to establish a connexion between the different cases. The investigation stalls. Fear reaches the nearby city. Then, the first bodies are found. Mutilated. And when the autopsies reveal that the fatal wounds have all been self-inflicted, everyone is astounded. Meanwhile, the young pastor continues to call for calm and prayers in the name of the missing. Something is definitely brewing near the lake in the middle of the woods.

ABOUT IT
These few lines of script guided me while trying to best represent the show. It is all about finding the right balance. Each shot should nourish the subject while leaving the plot surrounded by mystery. And there should be enough hidden keys to the story while making the viewer crave discovering the show.
The series is akin to a classic thriller wrapped of mysticism in which religious faith crumbles and madness gradually takes hold of the main protagonists.
Until We Fall Down - is my second attempt at creating an Opening Title for a fictional TV Show
We Were Young - was my first one.
