Design Through Continuity...
Booklet Project

The key to a well designed and easy to read layout is simplicity. Every reader's goal is to get to the point of what you are trying to say in your design. By using simple and clean design elements on this project, I was able to allow the readers to know what information was most important for them to know.

This is a religious talk called, "Be Ye Therefore Perfect - Eventually" given by Jeffery R. Holland that I designed into a booklet. I chose to use the idea of continuity because the theme of the talk was "Perfection", and how it is a continuous process. So I decided to use the continuation of dots throughout the book to show how it is all connected, and how perfection is a process, and cannot be achieved right away.

I also went with a very calm color pallet, because I wanted it to portray peace. By using these colors it helps the reader feel calm and not over stimulated while reading. By keeping the colors calm, the reader is able to focus more on the message that they are reading. I also chose a font that was softer and did not have hard edges to keep the calm and peaceful theme throughout the design.
