The current smooth top design on stoves can be interpreted as a problem for those who cannot see. How can you place a pot centered over the burner without any feedback as to where the burned could be? This is the problem I tackled with this project. Auburn University students under the Direction of Shea Tillman in collaboration with Assistive Technology were tasks with working with individuals with impairments.Each student had a unique set of challenges. My challenge was this, "how can you cook a meal without seeing"?
