Eskom Load Shedding

What is it?
In short, rolling power cuts to preserve capacity and avoid a strain in the system that can cause a total blackout , this is what my country (South Africa) has been going through for quite a while now, it sucks and the most frustrating part is not knowing when it will happen so you can plan your life around it.
Developers to the rescue...
Thankfully we have great developers who saw the need to provide a solution to alert us about when these power cuts will happen, how long they will last, something our beloved electricity provider (Eskom) should have done, and they do their best to provide us with the most accurate information as they can. But, the design aspect of some of these apps are a bit meh, i believe in well designed and well functioning apps, websites or whatever means of distribution one chooses. If either of this is missing it gives me a very weird feeling in my stomach, an app can function well and if people don't have any other options then they will use it, but it won't be an enjoyable experience (at least that's what it's like for me)
Disclaimer
 1. I haven't done any case  studies, wire frames, or anything that people who know what they doing do first.
2. I'm not a professional designer, i just browse allot of dribbble, Behance and app award websites.
3. I am more of a hobbyist , suck at color theory,  typography noob, begginer etc.
4. This is merely a design concept, i am yet to think about UX (see not above).
5. This is an incomplete project, it literally has one page.
6. I love Dark Themes on Amoled devices etc etc etc.
7. It's just a concept, practice, practice, practice.
8. Finally, Rihanna is absolutely gorgeous and incredibly talented....
The drafts
More of rough draft just to get something on canvas and get some ideas rolling
The OK, we on to something lets keep going...
1. Cards are absolutely great.
2. a bit of information overload, screen is dense with information.
3. Dark theme because yes.
4. Twitter card? Really? Well most alerts are given through the official service provider Twitter account so it made a bit of sense, and i just really wanted to practice on the twitter info card because i absolutely love the design of the official Twitter app (for the most part).
5. Watchlist is of course the other places you want to keep an eye on besides your own.
6. Ability to view weekly schedule, so you can prepare an excuse for not going out Friday night because you'll be binge watching some Netflix series.
Currently...
1. Gradients rock, and it seems i really like bright colors
2. Simplify things a bit, less information.
3. I had just realized how to do radial gauges on Adobe XD (don't judge me).
4. Quick notification so you can know the actual status of things the moment you open the app.
5. Time remaining so you can know how long before you need to wait to heat up that cold pizza you should've ate when the electricity was on or while it was still hot.
6. Conversational UI is so dope, it kind of humanizes the whole experience, i should probably look more into that.
7. Really liking the current light version but knowing myself, this is probably version 0.0.0.0.1 beta..
Thank you, bye
