The collection is inspired from the life of my grand dad ‘s life, who left his old home moved to a new place during Indian Independence .

Petrichor is the smell of wet soil when the rain drops fall on it. It takes us back to all the cherished memories that one has lived.

Colour scheme is really fresh and natural and it’s concept Is based on the acquiring the colours naturally 

The silhouettes are contemporary and fusion of Indian clothing during the time of independence and modern clothing 

To brainstorm for the ideas for natural dyeing various images were cut out from the magazines and then tried to replicate the concepts on to paper 

Sketches and design developments for final collection 

This print is developed keeping in mind the inspiration. The print was translated onto a denim fabric which was procured from SuryaLakshmi mills (extra fabric pieces which were of no use to the industry was used). This mood board is deeply inspired by the of co existence of all the species and mythological animals.
