The project consists in a collection of three book covers, and explores the similarities between three dystopian worlds.

Through the exploration of the same two elements in the book covers: the hands (which allude to the issue of manipulation, transversal to the three works) and a black dot, there is an intention to highlight/raise certain questions and reflections, and look at these three works (all written in the past century) from a contemporary perspective.
The inside of 1984, explores the important role that the book as an object plays in the way we perceive and interact with the story itself. A book is not just the words it contains. We cannot ignore that it has a physical dimension, and it is precisely through this dimension that people interact with the content.

This project explores concepts such as manipulation, oppression, transparency, uncertainty and distortion through their materialization in the book. The reading and interaction with the book becomes almost like a journey through the world of the story, where there are distorted, hidden and undiscovered things all throughout the book, and we can see a clear contrast between the clean and immaculate shell of the book (cover), and the distorted and confusing inside, typical of a dystopia.
