An Audience Propelled Story
Black Licorice is an original Digital Gravy Animation series. After having created characters, plots, locations and the other necessities we decided to make Black Licorice an interactive story. This meant looking to our audience as our "Co-writers" thus, Black Licorice was born. Each episode after our pilot episode features an original idea from an audience member who commented their idea on the previous episode. We hope you enjoy the first three episodes and check out @blacklicorice.story on Instagram for future episodes.

From animation to voice overs and sound effects, everything is done in house. Yes, that means recording in our "sound booth" with a mic strapped to a lamp post... the boss man may have misplaced our mic stands for a little while...
