I am a creative. A dreamer. An open minded free thinker. An entrepreneur who wants to be a good influence for my kids. I am a friend, a teacher, an independent woman. But, above all, I am a stroke survivor. This painting journal is a testament of what it is like to be a creative and the struggles within oneself whether it be due to trauma or insecurity. Being a successful artist is not all glamour and fame. Raw, real, truth. Even the ugly bits. I hope you will join me on this journey into my sanctuary and the lives of others that are like me, but have their own struggles.

During my own internal seeking, I talked to friends, acquaintances and loved ones.

I painted them, too.
Every face has a story.

All of these paintings are created using Ampersand Aquabord, Daniel Smith Watercolors and Dynasty Black Gold brushes. Most of them are 8 x 8”.
