A rotoscope-style animation created for the National Trust's rising star project - based on the lives of the devious Delevals at Seaton Deleval Hall (Georgian period). The brief was to create something on brand for the National Trust that also exuded the 'spirit of place', the idea was to put these animations behind door keyholes so that visitors could peek into the history at the hall. I pitched my idea of a looping party scene featuring dancers and musicians behind one of these doors, all mimicking the style of Victorian etching and print-making, which was soon commissioned. I created this with TVPaint, photoshop and after effects. First directing the footage, animating in partnership with my course mate, Alex Price, and compositing patterns with masks in After effects.
