I love mixing 3d animation and sculpting with hand-drawn elements. Here I sculpted in c4d then looped a texture from procreate, applying it to the model with sketch and toon shader. This one was good practice for me to get used to basic lighting workflow in C4d and I also learned new effects about ambient occlusion, which I will probably replicate in later productions for that added sketchy look. In after effects, I was able to layer in a hand-drawn hair sequence and track it to the 3d movement, while adding some noise effect to draw it all together better.
