Sister Circles Workshop

This flier was designed for Sister Circles event discussing healthy relationships. Sister Circles is a group for women of color attending Metropolitan State University of Denver, with the intent to gather as a collective community. This group was designed to provide a secure space for women of color to explore their identity/s, discuss challenges and strengths, and explore the needs of women in different spheres of life. I worked with a colleague, Lonni Woodruff, who's the lead for the program. To represent Sister Circles mission and reach out to the proper audience, I've used plant illustrations from Canva, a user-friendly drag and drop tool, to create a welcoming aesthetic. I've also included a "girl gang" graphics to express belongingness. The color palette choices were chosen in relation to the topic benefitting health. Overall, the design choices made was helpful in reaching out to women interested in learning useful information about the topic.
