High School Graduation Cap
I designed this graduation cap in May 2017 for the college I would be attending the following fall. I used green glitter paper for the base of the cap and stuck on rhinestones around the edges. I used gold sticker letters to write out "SUNY Oswego". I used cardstock paper in different shades of green and also yellow to create the logo. I did this by tracing the logo on the paper and cutting out the parts in each color. The wheel of the logo was placed on the cap and the 'Lakers' part was glued on to the button on top so the tassel could be placed underneath.
I created this graduation cap for myself for my 2021 graduation from college. I made this by using colored card stock paper, colored vinyl and glitter vinyl that was cut using my Cricut.
Martha's Vineyard Collage
Colored Pencil
Martha's Vineyard Collage
Procreate
I first created this collage of Martha's Vineyard using colored pencils when I was in middle school. The image uses some famous landmarks that are found on the island. I drew this by using reference photos and coloring it in. In March 2020, I decided to recreate this collage in Procreate. I did this by using the same reference photos and tracing those images. I then would color match the original photo and start coloring the traced image. In some areas, I used shading and other special brushes to add more detail.
Cape Cod Collage
Procreate
During the summer of 2019, I decided to create a collage poster of Cape Cod. I used famous landmarks and the same process I used while creating the Martha's Vineyard collage.
Figure Skate Crystal Detailing
Being a figure skater for many years, I love sparkle. My style of skates, Edea Ice Fly, have a built in detailing of 5 Swarovski crystals on the outside textured part of the skate, which you can see in the first image. Many people with these types of skates often get the textured section filled in with crystals, so I decided to do it myself after owning my skates for 5 years. I did not want to ruin my skates, so I put a layer of white tape over the area where I was going to glue the crystals. I then started to glue the crystals on to the tape layer, filling in the entire section. This was done to both skates on the outside.
Customized Vans Sneakers
For my 21st birthday in April 2020, I asked for white high top Vans so I could customize them. I decided to use the crystals I had leftover from customizing my skates. On both sides of the shoe on the accent line, I glued the crystals. I also glued 3 crystals to the shoelaces. On the back section, I added silver glitter and finished it over with mod podge. I also added the sliver glitter to the aglets and covered them with mod podge as well.
Cape Cod and Islands Shell Bottle
I created this piece by painting an old liquor bottle and hot gluing shells to it that I have found on the beach of Cape Cod. I added the outlines of Cape Cod and the Islands to the back with white acrylic paint.
Martha's Vineyard Flower Island
I created this piece on a 8in x 10in canvas. I traced the outline of the island and used a blue color scheme to add flowers on the inside to create the island itself.
Wave Canvas
I created this 11in x 14in canvas inspired by The Wave painted by Hokusai. I drew the wave in pencil and painted with acrylic paint.
Ice Fly Canvas
I created this 8in x 10in canvas using acrylic paint and crystals. I first traced the skate image and painted using colors that closely match the actual skate. I then glued on the crystals where they are present on the skate. I lastly painted the background.
Crystal Wave
I created this crystal wave on a 3in x 7in piece of wood. I first painted the wood blue, then I drew in pencil the wave. I then glued on the crystals to form the wave.
Flower Mini Canvas
I created this 2.5in x 2.5in canvas by using acrylic paint. I first drew a flower outline by hand, then I painted it with a blue color scheme.
Cape Cod Mini Canvas
I created this 2.5in x 2.5in canvas by tracing an outline of cape cod. I then painted it in a dark blue with a light blue background. I added a black outline around the image.
Martha's Vineyard Crystal Mini Canvas
I created this 2.5in x 2.5in canvas by first painting it blue. I then traced an outline of Martha's Vineyard. I then started to fill it in by gluing on crystals.
Wave Mini Canvas
This 2.5in x 2.5in is similar to the larger wave, however I used slightly different colors and added the detail lines in the wave with a light blue. I used a brush pen to outline the wave and the white water.
Rolling Stones Logo Canvas
I created this 8in by 10in canvas by tracing a Rolling Stones logo. I then painted it in using acrylic paint using a blue color scheme. I used grey  for the outline to fit my room theme better since I made this to hang on my wall.
Cape Cod and Islands
I created this project by request of my parents to hang up in our Cape Cod home. I first traced the outlines of the Cape and Islands. I then used thin tape to create a triangle design. I used water colors to paint and blend the colors into a rainbow gradient. Lastly, I used a gold acrylic paint to go over the outlines of the Cape and Islands as well as the triangles.
