Logo & Poster Design
This work was done for “Konkan Film Festival” or “Konkan Chitrapat Mohotsav” at Kudal, Maharashtra. Konkan region in Maharashtra state of India is known for its beautiful landscape.
Konkan Film Festival was the first regional festival. Hence, the client needed a logo that represented Konkan’s natural beauty and a unique feel of a regional film festival.
Even though the festival's target audience was local (Marathi language speaking) people, the logo had to be communicative to both Marathi and non Marathi speakers.
The logo I created was inspired from the sea. Sea is vast, never ending and so are films. Sea has layers of blue colour, film has layers in different ways. Which is why the logo also displays layers that reflect the vast nature of films. Seashores in Konkan are famous for their beauty and
I tried to reflect that beauty in my logo design.
After the logo, promotional posters were made.
