Little Thai / Rebranding Concept
Little Thai is a Thai take-out restaurant chain in Valencia, Spain.
I found their current logo a bit too detailed and unreadable at first glance, so I came up with my own solution. I kept what I thought was the most original element in the logo —the girl's face— and chose to forego others, like her body, the bowl and the chopsticks. I simplified the image to basic shapes and strokes and ended up with a compact symbol that could be used virtually anywhere.
The accompanying type is simpler than the original but includes little playful touches in the 't's and the 'h', which prevents it from being too dull.
