Instruction: Design a poster for a movie by hand. You will have to include images of the chosen film in the composition.
Realization: I chose "Comment c'est loin" directed by Orelsan and Christophe Offenstein.
I wanted to give this impression of far away thanks to the increasingly reduced size of the typography. But also, by using graphic forms; these blue rectangles follow the same perspective as the central image, which itself gives an impression of distance thanks to its composition. The rectangles are increasingly lighter to reinforce this impression of depth. As the film is about part of the story of the two rappers Orelsan and Gringe, I decided to put the images in black and white, to emphasize the retrospective side of the film. The two main characters are in the foreground to give rhythm to the composition. They seem to be observing their own journey.
The predominantly blue colour is there to evoke nostalgia, while the title is easily distinguishable thanks to a warm yellow.

J'ai voulu donner cette impression de lointain grâce à la taille de la typographie de plus en plus réduite. Mais aussi, en utilisant des formes graphiques; ces rectangles bleus suivent la même perspective que l'image centrale, qui elle même donne une impression de lointain grâce à sa composition. Les rectangles sont de plus en plus clair pour renforcer cette impression de profondeur. Comme le film parle d'une partie de l'histoire des deux rappeurs Orelsan et Gringe, j'ai décidé de mettre les images du film en noir et blanc, pour insister sur le côté rétrospective. Les deux personnages principaux sont au premier plan pour donner du rythme à la composition. Ils donnent l'air d'observer leur propre parcours.
La couleur bleu majoritairement présente est là pour évoquer la nostalgie, tandis que le titre se distingue aisément grâce à un jaune chaud.
