Foundations | Spacial Dynamics '13: Frame, Skin, Appeal
Assignment:
Create an "appeal," involving a frame and skin, while transforming and adding onto the human body.

Using two and three-ply Bristol paper and pulpboard, I formed an adjustable exterior
two-piece design: a "helmet" with shoulder covering, and chest piece.

The appeal is a mix of geometic and organic structure; a billowing head covering is paired with a rigid chest attachment. I wanted to exhibit the sense of security resulting from seclusion, as well as the option for openness and exposure to the outside world.
