Pacaya Samiria - the amazonian jungle

Pacaya Samiria
The peruvian rainforest
I took these photographs in the heart of the peruvian jungle during the flood season in December 2019. Pacaya Samiria is with 20,800 km² the biggest reserve of Peru and known for it's biodiversity with hundreds of bird species and other animals such as pink dolphins, spider monkeys and giant South American turtles. We were exploring this vast flooded area only by Canoes.
