The 2nd Extension of Teatro alla Scala:
The theatre space comes to be the core and the heart of the project. Our understanding and perception of experimental theatre is the starting point for the project design. As experimental theatre alters traditional conventions of space (black box theatre), theme, movements, mood and tensions, conventional rules and elements, the intention of the project is to reach a theatre that will introduce maximum transforming and flexible inner space that will never remain the same and will give every artist the opportunity to express themselves. We reached a harmony with the context and scale of the street but at the same time it is unique and diverse towards the surrounding. The transparent façade come to be as a screen that shows the liveliness and animations of the inner space and theatre. These factors intrigue, attract and invite people to cross the portal and to become a part of the inner processes and actions.
