Narrative Project
The project was created during one of my courses in Birmingham City University. The theme was to present a narrative that describes ourselves. It was created under a group of three people, trying to combine something that represents each of us into one work.
I found out that some of the things from my partner was written in Chinese(she's British, and I'm from Taiwan), where I could help her understand those objects that are precious to her. Hence, we photoshoot those things in the darkroom, and created a concept video out of them. The vintage feel of the photos and the digital errors in the video were to represent the combination of the past and the present, which were those that used to be precious to us and the person we are now.
