This is my exhibit for the Research & Creative Works Conference at Brigham Young Univeristy-Idaho. We were to address a social issue and I chose trains as my topic. I felt like people aren't safe enough around trains, so I wanted to present facts that would persuade the viewer to be more cautious.
I placed the exhibit in the Engineering building because they handle a lot of force equations when constructing their projects. My exhibit had a lot to do with the sheer force behind trains, so I felt this would reach my audience the best.
In an attempt to save money, I constructed the frame with two less cross bars than I originally wanted. This caused the foam core to bow. It also limited the contact points for where I was tacking it down, so after a week of being up the posters became a little loose.
