This is a video breakdown I made, it explain step by step the work I did on a matte painting. 
First I filmed a short sequence of a castle ruins, then I created a realistic matte painting that I integrated to the original shot. I changed the environment by adding other ruins also mountains in the background, change the sky....

Voici une vidéo explicative montrant le pas à pas de mon travail sur un matte painting. 

Tout d'abord j'ai filmé un courte séquence d'un chateau en ruines, puis j'ai créer un matte painting photo réaliste que j'ai ensuite incruster au plan original. J'ai changé l'environnement globale en ajoutant d'autres ruines à celles existantes, modifié l'arriére plan, le ciel....
