This star does not need a body double for his nude scenes. He didn’t demand in his contract to have a trailer bigger than his co-star, a small caddy to get around between studios, his personal chef on the set, or a sumptous villa just for himself. This star performs his own stunts, without the studios having to worry about spending
a fortune on insurance or having an underpaid stuntman, overpay with his life. This star doesn’t do premieres,
red carpets, endorsements or the daughters of ageing rockstars. And although he is known all over the world,
he doesn’t need sunglasses to step out or illicit substances to sleep in.

For this story, it wasn’t necessary to call a writer and a script-doctor, then to dismiss the original writer to finally take a pool of writers who then completely rewrote the script. This is not a tale of fiction largely or loosely inspired by real events. It was also not necessary to carry out an important international casting to find all the known and lesser known actors who for the most part hate each other, and would have had to pretend to like each other during the interviews and come out with set phrases like : « It was really an amazing experience to work with him and he taught me so much during the shoot ». For this set, it was not necessary to hire several smoke machines to bathe the Dartmoor Woodland in a layer
of fine grey mist. The trees have not been repainted with aerosols to make them more « green ». The leaves,
moss and branches have not been carefully placed here and there by the prop master who felt that it was perhaps lacking a little « plant presence » in the left corner of the frame. The squirrels, doves and rabbits were not released just before the shot by their trainer whose job would be to maintain roughly their « playing position », thanks
to nylon threads that will be removed in post-prod image by image. And the film images have not been calibrated
for hours to please the discerning eye of the modern viewer, who has been raised and formed for years by the best of Hollywood productions.
