With a rapid growth in anxiety, ADHD, and other mental health issues, more than a million children receieve medications before the age of 6 to treat mental health issues, in-turn preventing a healthy brain development. Those medications provide temporary relief but do not solve the root of the problem.
Nimi Minds Mindfulness Kit is part of Nimi brand of mindful toys. The kit is an interactive set of child-focused Mediation Bedtime Story and an exercise Yoga Book led by an adorable mascot Nimi, helping children improve and develop mental & physical health through entertainment.
Meditation Bedtime Story
The book educates children and parents on the benefits of yoga and meditation. Most importantly it provides a meditation bed time story with the structure of a yoga nidra meditation and a variety of themes (various deck of cards) that could be inserted in the book to create a personalized adventure based on the interests of the child. Bellow is shown an example of the theme cards titled "Space".

Yoga Book
To prepare children for meditation and enjoy the benefits of yoga the interactive flip through Yoga Book was created. It is structured to create a healthy yoga flow designed specifically for children even when the pages of the book are shuffled. Children can flip through and create their own yoga flows thus being more engaged with the practice of yoga. The book is in triangular shape with one side highly illustrative (facing children), and the back side typographic (facing parents). Child and parent will be on opposite sides of the book to help parents guide their children and children see how the pose is done.
