The golden age of American animation was a period in the history of U.S. animation that began with the popularization of sound cartoons in 1928 and gradually ended throughout the late 1950s to late 1960s.

The first illustration is an good old television. Television became available in crude experimental forms in the late 1920s, but it would still be several years before the new technology would be marketed to consumers.
The second & third illustrations are an old victorian camera & phone. I loved the idea to back in time and use this retro cartoon style about this significant period of new technologies & discoveries.
