Shahed - "Customized to Your Taste" - Dubai Lynx

SHAHED BRAND IDENTITY &
"CUSTOMIZED TO YOUR TASTE" INTEGRATED CAMPAIGN
"Shahed" is a popular VOD (Video On Demand, or online streaming service) in the Middle East. 
For the MBC Youth Competition, the brief required the VOD to be rebranded as well as have an integrated campaign.  Customized To Your Taste” is a campaign that involves personalized recommendations based on algorithms or data storage. The purpose of this campaign is to familiarize viewers with the fact that Shahid has a variety of both Arabic and International movies and series. To do this, the youth, tech savvy, and those let down were taken into consideration. The campaign plays with the word “taste” to recommend series and movies to the viewers. Online food delivery apps (such as zomato) collaborate with Shahid, so that users can be recommended by their food choices. On social media, Shahid creates a twitter bot to recommend series to users, and uses snapchat as well. Finally, for offline/print, the users’ answers on Twitter, turn into series/posters similar to those from the movies.

Note: This project won first place in the “Dubai Lynx Student Integrated Campaign Competition” 2020.

ONLINE: 
 In this section of the campaign, Zomato will collaborate with Shahid. Here, every time a user orders something from Zomato , they will get a package with a scan and the Shahid logo on it . Based on what they ordered, the scan will allow them to try Shahid Plus for a whole day and will take them directly to watch this movie as well. There will also be a Recommendation List based on the history of orders.
 When watching a movie or series, viewers will be able to see a pop up message at the end of what they are watching that tells them to go to a certain restaurant and order a certain meal/drink. What they order, will be customized based on the series they watched. 
Example: "Aroos Beirut" Coffee.


SOCIAL MEDIA: 

There are two parts in the Social Media - Part 1 concerns “Recommend Me Shahid”, 
a hashtag on twitter used to get users to interact to the Shahid Twitter AI bot, RecShahid. Based on their interaction, the bot will recommend a movie or series and will let them have access to watch for a day. If the user does this around 5 times, they will have access to Shahid plus for 7 days. The best tweets that interacted with the RecShahid bot, will be chosen and turned into posters of the movies they were recommended. 
Examples: "LaLaLand" and "Yalla Abelkon"
Part 2 - Concerns a Snapchat Filter. In Snapchat, there will be an AR filter that will tell the user to hold an object. This AR scans the user and the object and sends a snapcode. 

This snapcode can be saved and the user will be able to access a Shahid Plus for a day or watch the movie recommended by the snapcode. In this example, the movie is "The Rewrite"
