The Egyptian Revolution

The Egyptian Revolution
This is a personal editorial piece in response to the riots in Egypt that ended the 29 year presidency of Hosni Mubarak. Most importantly I wanted to illustrate the powerful role that social networking had in spurring the revolution. Posts from Facebook and Twitter allowed the opinions of a mostly young silent majority to spread and multiply so rapidly that it had a devastating effect on the almost 30 year political reign of Hosni Mubarak. They say that the pen is mightier than the sword. Now it appears that the tweet is mightier than all of the above.
