TRANS WOMEN'S HEALTH
Illustrations for the publication "The health of trans women: recognizing diversity" published by the Andalusian Institute for Women along with the Andalusian School of Public Health. The publication is part of a series of notebooks for women's health, each one focused on a specific topic.
The notebook deals with the reality of trans women from respect and non-discrimination. It begins with an introduction and an explanation of concepts, such as gender expression and identity.
Throughout the text and images, topics such as discrimination, transphobic violence and social inequality are discussed; It is also about protecting the rights of trans women, about their physical and mental health or about gender diversity in childhood and adolescence.
The images I have drawn illustrate each of these themes: transphobia, bullying, protection of rights or activism, but always focused on trans women.
