Siemens GS, a part of the Siemens worldwide conglomerate, planned to host their biggest event of the year, the annual day celebrations in grand fashion. The theme of the event was decided as ‘Into the Future’, on the basis of which we started conceptualization.
The pre-event activities were kickstarted with a series of e-mailers in the form of riddles to arouse curiosity and give the employees a chance to guess the overall theme. After the competition ended and the employees who guessed right were felicitated, we had a dramatic theme reveal featuring a flash mob followed by a number of future themed activities including an interactive vision board asking employees what they would like to see in the future as well as a thematic scavenger hunt within the office premises.

The entire event was meticulously planned keeping the employees and theme in mind at the core of the experience. The entire walkway leading to the main hall was decorated with Siemens flags. As they approached the main event area, they were welcomed with a cutting-edge entrance arch reiterating the theme.
Before the main function, attendees had the opportunity to visit the pre-function area and participate in several innovative activities and games including competitive VR experiences, robots and flight simulators for a state-of-the-art experience. As the employees reached the main ballroom, they witnessed a dramatic teleportation entry of the Department Head – Naveen Mohan. After a brief explanation to the theme, the top performing employees and teams were felicitated by members of the Siemens India and Siemens Global leadership at the grand event. Over 30 awards were distributed interspersed with engaging emcee activities, internal and external dance performances as well as an iPad magician act.
