An Interdisciplinary experimental theatre combining new media image, sound, body modification and costumes!
A light of fire is lid in the dark cave with an illusion emerging along the surface vaguely telling us about the silhouette of reality. Behaviour is used to interpret motive while motive is used to convey the impulse of desire. The stirred light of fire reveals the darkness of life for its coexistence. An appetite for death is then awaken by fear when consciousness makes flesh suspend in midair.
We analyse violence and desire that coexist in human nature through all kinds of perspectives. This interdisciplinary experimental space is a theatre which hosts simultaneously an exposition of costumes, space, suspension act, BDSM, sound, new media image and image reproduction in order to discuss the real identity of the Caveman according to Plato.
【Expo & Performance Concept】
The idea of this expos & performance space is based on the concept of "work in progress" and it is composed of "field dialogues".
We have built a recording set for audience to personally participate in performance behaviours. The collaborative performance by actors and audience is then recorded as another video to show the organic nature of our theme.
We exist in the immediate present progress and revolve in the absence of our existence. Evidence of the process is exposed from inside out, and the revealed reality is decided by the participation of audience which in turn forms different conclusions. These conclusions are recorded in video form to become another essential process of the formation of our next conclusion.
