English Geodiversity Forum

Branding and media concept for the English Geodiversity Forum. The forum seeks to connect geologists and serve as a platform for discussion and action concerning the geodiversity of England. It was important to keep a strong brand consistancy through all the output. Limiting the colour palette and bringing in rock textures offers this whilst being indicative of the nature of the group.
The website utilises and grid based tile system for the display of updates and news items. Clicking on a tile brings the content into an expanding space amongst the other tiles. Operating the site from one page like this allows for clearer navigation.
Upon mouseover of each tile. A diagonal of the photograph's true colour is shown to smooth the visual transition from the duotone to the full colour photo within the article.
The tiles expand creating room for the article. The full colour photo is now revealed.
The tile format of the online content efficiently transitions to touch screen devices allowing the design to be functional whilst users recognise consistancy. As with the website, clicking on a tile brings the content into an expanding space amongst the other tiles. Operating the site from one page like this allows for easier navigation.
A variety of business cards with differing rock types and definitions can be made.
