Interior of a Pharmacy Store
The client had bought the unbuilt commercial space for their pharmacy store years ago, however, when it was finally built it was not quite what they hoped for and they came to us to ask for a solution to the problem - there was no space!
Stairs, apart from being a necessary functional element, can be the identity of the beauty of the space, or a waste of space - as it was here. So we designed a steeper and more elegant set of stairs for the pharmacy store, giving it more useful volume and light.
The shelves and the register bar are designed to allow freedom and fit into the essence of the space.
The pharmacy is in Uzice, Serbia. Designed together with Mikica Jovanovic.
