Botanique at Bartley
The infiltration of daylight on a warm material palette creates a spacious, bright and welcoming feel to the studio apartment. The various approach of detailing is used to create a 'levitated' expression. Upon entering the house, one is greeted with a clean linear cabinet with a lit-up base for shoes, this intentional detail gives a lightweight feel to the room. Upon entering the bedroom, the cool concrete wall is contrasted with warm maple wood fins which set the mood of the room. The sleek language of the fin is carried throughout to the bedside ledge, making it a minimalist statement.
