This project was based off of a derive, which is to wander aimlessly without motive, these walks were done in Zahle, a more suburban town, and Beirut, which is a city. Upon these walks I noticed many obstacles while walking along sidewalks, such as barriers or cars parked on the path. This led me to mapping out sidewalks in both Zahle and Beirut of a similar distance and duration, in order to compare the difference in obstacles present on sidewalks in a suburban town versus a city.
