WM1 Sitemap c. 2006-2012 - Over time, serious bloat developed within the WellcomeMat platform. While our development team was responding to user feedback and adding new services at a voracious pace, certain critical features would become buried often 3-4 clicks deep, while others--due to lack of visibilty--were being overlooked entirely by our user base.
WM2 Sitemap c. 2013 - With the new WellcomeMat we have refined the user experience eliminating 50% of the pages. Every possible action (i.e upload video, editi video, distribution, etc.) is now within 1 or 2-clicks away.
WM1 Navigation - Secondary navigation (Find a Filmmaker and The Hood) has more visibilty than primary navigation (content within Dashboard dropdown). Total of 12 links out to primary navigation pages w/ nine primary nav options.
WM2 Navigation - Primary navigation presented in order of importance with original nine from WM1 now listed as three main nav elements and two secondary. User's info listed seperately to the right and away from content management options.
WM1 Dashboard - Overtime the WM1 Dashboard became a junkyard of content. The nine individual elements on above page left our users unsure as to if and where the value existed on WellcomeMat. For example, less than 4% of our users were clicking on the 'My Alerts section. Overtime we began removing social features (messaging, connections) thus services such as the 'Connection Feed' served limited if any value to our user base.
WM2 Dashboard - By focusing only on actions which help create value and directly impact a successful video marketing campaign, we were able to eliminate six of the nine sections visible on WM1.
WM1 Videos page - Limited to 10 videos per view. No indication as to which navigation is primary on page. Data for each individual video asset is spread out across page with no clear weighting. 
WM1 Videos page - Now with 250% more videos available per view. Primary navigation is clear. Each individual video (+ data) are one-click away with clearly lableled stats for each asset.
