Promotional Video for the Mountwest Graphic Design Program
I had some time this spring during the pandemic shutdowns to create a promotional video for my Graphic Design AAS program.
First, I spent a lot of time combing through my course files for photos and student projects from the past five years. I also found some additional images online. I enhanced and corrected the photos with Photoshop.
Next, I wrote and recorded a script with Audition. Then I imported the images into Premiere Pro and worked on the timing and matching of images with the narration. I also layed down a music track. Then I added transitions between some of the images for drama and interest.
Finally, I brought the video into After Effects and added an animated title sequence and some light leak effects.
The video now resides on the Mountwest Graphic Design web page. It's doing what it was intended to do - showcase the program and entice potential students to enroll.
