Do a case study on Melinda Gibson's works and create a series of 3-5 images using
traditional methods (non-digital) based on your study of the experimental intent for a campaign using her style.
Melinda Gibson's primary interests lie within the shifting boundaries of the photographic medium
and how imagery is received and understood within its contextual surroundings.
Using experimental techniques, she explores, examines and questions existing theories and
codes of practice, pushing the boundaries of what really constitutes ‘seeing.’

THE PROCESS
These are the steps that I took to finally complete my case study. Firstly, I went to import the photos
that I would like to use into photoshop as I wanted to try out digitally how it would turn out before
I decide on what pictures to use. Once that is done, I will move on to printing it out and
cutting them into my preferred shape. Thereafter, I will placed them on top of each other,
glued it together before I scan it back into my computer.

REFLECTION
From Melinda Gibson, I felt that I have really learnt a lot about her style, her techniques and her thought process behind her works. It is really fascinating for me when I saw her work because it is something that I am interested in or drawn towards but never knew how she did it or go about doing so. I have learnt that she uses different images to tell her very own story. Her works are very eye-catching as it was visually pleasing to the eyes as it there were colours and different pictures. Her style really inspired me to do more of this type of works in the future and to even apply it to my campaign as it might appeal to my tribe visually. Overall, I really found this case study interesting and would do it over again. < 3
