Studio Hoekhuis | Instagram Stories
Instagram is one of the social media platforms that bookshop / gallery Studio Hoekhuis is most active on. We regularly post about new graphic novels, books, art, prints and artist whose work is featured at Hoekhuis. Since early 2019 we're creating custom made Instagram Stories to highlight our collection.
Mostly these are based on the covers of books, comics and graphic novels and tweaked and photoshopped in the Instagram Stories format of 1080x1920 pixels. In some cases this means a whole rearrangement of composition and getting creative to 'fill in the blanks'. Luckily most publishers and artists have decent promo imagery to work with, but something it takes a bit of elbow grease to make it work. It also is a great opportunity the have some fun with the Studio Hoekhuis logo, to make it blend in with the style of the artist or book cover.
