Singapore is facing the challenge of an age ing population as fertility rates decrease and life expectancy increases. According to the research elderly in Singapore who live alone, no matter men or women, have a higher chance of dying prematurely, with those living in one-to three-room flats at a higher risk compared to those who live in bigger housing types on their own. They need our care. Even though are a few greetings from neighbors, sitting down and have a meal together and chat will help the elderly. They won’t feel loneliness because they have neighbors to look after them.
