The brief required me to narrate a true crime story. I immediately thought of the story of Stefano Cucchi, or the Cucchi Case as it become to be known in Italy. It is the story of a young guy that was arrested for minor detention of drugs and he died 7 days after under detention of the state. Stefano’s family fought 10 years to come to the truth, and had to put into place a mediatic campaign for the human right against the statal institution. Today, Stefano Cucchi Association helps and supports many people with problems related to human rights and against the police brutalities, as wells as people with drug addiction problems around the world.
