It started with a sketch as I built key art for a client. I couldn't shake this lettering idea.

Using some of my original files from that client, I constructed this grid to construct each letter.

The character set turned out wonderfully.

The end result was a structure where wings could be added to work with each letter. Just adding parentheses or brackets will add one of the two wing designs.
