"What matters most is the journey, not the destination."
This was a academic project in which we were asked to make a themed artist's book. I chose to pay homage to the Nintendo/Super Nintendo era video games most specifically the Legend of Zelda series and RPGs which primary objectives included saving the world and also saving the damsel in distress, which in most cases, was a princess.
The book consists of a folded map in which you can interact with element themed environments (wind, water, earth, fire, and sand) which may have hide a treasure. The castle is the final area in which holds the love interest of the game.
