Am I Perfect Yet?
Makeup is an object with incredible transformative power. My project aims to highlight how makeup and retouching is used within the media and how models in adverts and magazines are presented to us as a hyper-reality.
I want to show the stages that models and photos go through to then be published in the media. I want to show how far away from reality a retouched image can really be. Retouching is no longer restricted to glossy magazines and adverts. With multiple applications available 'perfection' is possible for anyone with just the touch of a button.
