A series of four Neo-Gothic graphic structures.
Apparel designed and developed to protect the wearer
from the elements and undesired spells.
The exceptional changes that had to be made over the last months led to the reinvention of product and model catwalk photography. Thanks to photogrammetry technology, I used virtual models to showcase the graphic fabrics. The end product is meant to simulate mixed senses of an uneasy reality, playing to the strengths of the uncanny valley.
The intention for the graphic structures is to look ominous at first glance.
I want viewers to feel uneasy and question the motive behind the wearer. However, When inspected closely, one begins to notice the semi nonsensical messages encased within the graphics. These messages are of an almost self-propaganda form in nature, and therefore serve the two purposes:
1. Protect the wearer by warding off people for approaching.

Project was executed with strict social distancing measures. No member, virtual or otherwise, risked contracting the COVID-19 virus at any time during the production of this project.
